Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma fibroblast treatments have gained a reputation as one of the best non-surgical and non-invasive procedures for skin tightening worldwide. This treatment is safe and effective in lifting and tightening sagging skin areas, yielding similar results to surgery yet sans the downtime, high cost and high risks.

How it works is that it utilises a pen like device with a probe which produces a small plasmic air. This little flash will cause microscopic points of evaporation in the tissue via a process called sublimation (turning a solid into gas). Consequently, shrinkage in the epidermal skin layer is caused without any damage to the surrounding tissue. A specific cluster or pattern of point sequences is placed in the treatment area, generating a reduction grid and decreasing the amount of excess skin which results in immediate contraction and tightening in the area without cutting.

Results may be noticed instantaneously after the treatment. However, it may take a minimum 6-8 weeks for the full effect to be visible. Similar to most cosmetic and surgical procedures, Plasma Fibroblast does not prevent future ageing and hence cannot be considered to be absolutely permanent. The longevity of the treatments can last for years, depending on each individual's lifestyle, genetics and quality of after care. 

It shall be noted that it is not recommended for people with a skin tone III and above on the Fitzpatrick Scale to undergo this treatment as there may be a risk of hyperpigmentation.
